Adeboye, has expressed delight at the uncommon leadership qualities of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, describing him as a man of kindness and humility. Speaking on his visit to Enugu State, during the weekend, Pastor Adeboye said that it was a pleasant surprise to him that Gov. Ugwuanyi came to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, to receive him, on arrival. The RCCG General Overseer was in Enugu for the South East Ministers and Workers’ meeting/crusade of the Church, held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, on Sunday.

Insecurity: Pastor Adeboye urges Christian leaders not to relent in prayers for Nigeria

Share The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, called on Christian leaders not to relent in praying for Nigeria to overcome its security challenges, saying such intercessions would help in overcoming security challenges confronting the country. Adeboye stated this in Ondo town headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday while donating some materials and hospital equipment worth millions of naira to the Ondo State University of Medical Science Teaching Hospital. The RCCG General Overseer who was represented by the Provincial Pastor in charge of Province 2, Ondo, Pastor Goke Aniyenoye, noted that insecurity poses one of the gravest threat to the nation’s existence and said the country would need to help the military win the war against terror with the aid of spiritual warfare.

Adeboye visits Fayemi, condemns bandits attacks on traditional rulers in Ekiti

By Rotimi Ojomoyela The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has described as unfortunate, the recent attacks by bandits on traditional institutions in Ekiti state. The cleric was speaking against the backdrop of separate attacks on two traditional rulers by gunmen in the state in the last ten days. While the Elewu of Ewu-Ekiti, Oba Adetutu Ajayi was shot and escaped being kidnapped, the Obadu of Ilemeso-Ekiti , Oba David Oyewumi was abducted in his palace and whereabouts unknown as of press time. Adeboye who spoke in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Saturday when he visited the state governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, said traditional institutions in the state and beyond deserved respect because of the critical roles the institution play in the society.
