I came for King Tut s sarcophagus. I stayed for the boozy armadillo. And how convenient to have all those glasses, right?
I was tipped off to an item Sarah Desrosiers-Stelmach is selling on an Owensboro barter site and since it was an EXCELLENT replica of an Egyptian sarcophagus, I had to know more.
But now I know where to find his sarcophagus. Seriously though, I asked Sarah how she came to own this unique piece and she told she got it at Trees and Trends in Bowling Green back in the 90s. I remember the store very well from my days at Western Kentucky University, but I had no idea they sold ancient resting places. Check this thing out.

I love taking pictures. It s in my blood. My great-grandfather and my grandparents were photographers. My dad had more different types of camera equipment than probably any funeral director who ever lived.
And when I m driving, it isn t unusual for me to hit the brakes or even find the nearest shoulder on which to turn around so I can get a picture of something.
So why not curate some of my favorites into a gallery to wrap up 2020? Now, mind you, the reasons for their inclusion run the gamut; could be subject, could be composition.

The USA Today Best New Amusement Park Attractions Poll has wrapped up, and you voted Cheetah Chase at Holiday World as 3rd best. I rode the World s First Launched Water Coaster 20+ times consecutively this summer, and I agree that it s pretty amazing.

What are some of the best new heart-pumping rides at amusement parks across the country? Have you had the chance to ride Cheetah Chase at Holiday World yet? OMG. It s so much fun! Chad and I rode it over and over, and over again. So, it s no surprise that the ride made it into the Top 5 of the USA Today 10Best Poll.
Dog Dumped at Shelter, Only Collar, Blanket & Bowl Remain
On Christmas Day a sweet pup was dumped at the Daviess County Animal Shelter. The next day the dog was nowhere to be found and all that remained is the collar, blanket, and bowl of dog food. Here s how all of this could have been avoided.
DAVIESS COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER
Yesterday, the Daviess County Animal Shelter shared the sad story about an abandoned pup that has since gone missing. On a very cold Christmas Day, December 25th, 2020 a dog was dumped at the shelter. Devastated shelter employees found the evidence the next morning. It was all there, the collar which was snagged on the fence, the blanket and bowl. I m going to name the pup Rudy (after Rudolph) as I write this article.
