WILMINGTON Two virtual job or career fairs are being planned, according to the county’s economic development director.
One job fair will be split up in order to have two groups of attenders, said Jennifer Klus Ekey, economic development director for the Clinton County Port Authority.

Port Authority announces open enrollment for 10,000 Small Businesses program

WILMINGTON The Clinton County Port Authority, through its partnership with the Ohio SBDC, announced that Sinclair Community College will be providing virtual access to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) program in May 2021.
Applications for the 2021 cohort are available at 10KSBapply.com.
“The 10KSB program is dedicated to small businesses,” said Jennifer Klus Ekey, economic development director for the Clinton County Port Authority, “and is an especially valuable opportunity for the small business community during this time.”
The 10KSB has helped strengthen over 9,700 small businesses in all 50 states since its inception in 2009. The program provides business education, wrap-around support services, and pathways to capital for growth-oriented entrepreneurs.

Craig J. Zamary, whose experience includes leadership positions of a world-class technology platform and a media company, is the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University.
Zamary’s primary focus will providing leadership for implementing the NASA Glenn T2U Commercialization initiative.
“We are excited to have Craig join the WCBA,” said Betty Jo Licata, WCBA dean. “His entrepreneurial expertise and passion for entrepreneurship education will enable us to create new and innovative opportunities for our students.”
T2U (Technology Transfer University) will bring real-world, NASA-proven technologies into the classroom so business students can assess new markets and develop business plans for NASA technologies for commercial use.
