The officer who shot him is Adam Coy, a 19-year veteran of the department who has since been placed on paid administrative leave. Columbus police released records and video of the encounter Wednesday, along with Coy’s personnel file and discipline records. Coy is white; Hill was Black. Police say no weapon was found at the scene.
