Ireland to invest €17 million to create ‘European-style’ outdoor dining
The Irish Government is set to invest €17 million to allow local authorities and businesses to create ‘European-style’ outdoor dining.
After a year that has devastated Ireland’s hospitality industry, the announcement of a €17 million investment to create ‘European-style’ outdoor dining will be welcomed by many pub and restaurant owners.
Businesses across Ireland will be able to apply for grants of up to €4,000 each to be invested in outdoor seating and other amenities.
Following Taoiseach Micheál Martin’s announcement on Tuesday outlining Ireland’s roadmap out of lockdown, the plans to invest €17 million to create ‘European-style’ outdoor dining will be an extra boost for Ireland’s hospitality industry.
