Last week, British actor, writer and director Noel Clarke has made headlines after being accused of groping, harassment and bullying by 20 women.
Clarke played Mickey Smith in
Doctor Who from 2005 to 2010 and starred as Sam in the films
Kidulthood, Adulthood and
Brotherhood, which he wrote and directed, intent on bringing more representations of working-class Britain to screen. Clarke also writes, produces and plays Aaron Bishop in the British police procedural series

Prince William was not told about allegations against Noel Clarke until after he received his BAFTA award, it has been reported.

Noel Clarke has been suspended by BAFTA after allegations of sexual misconduct were made against him by 20 women
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts have moved to suspend the membership of the 45-year-old actor â who has starred in the likes of âDoctor Whoâ and âKidulthoodâ â after a piece published in The Guardian newspaper revealed several women had accused him of harassment 4 May 2021
The Guardian article claimed the women had accused Clarke of a range of inappropriate activities, including sexual harassment, unwanted touching or groping, sexually inappropriate behaviour and comments on set, professional misconduct, taking and sharing sexually explicit pictures and videos without consent, and bullying between 2004 and 2019.

Adulthood star Noel Clarke has been accused by over 20 women of sexual harassment.
Multiple entertainment industry professionals alleged that Clarke made unwanted sexual advances, sent unwanted sexual content and used his power and influence to keep them silent over the years.
