Kolkata: After flagging off the fifth phase of the Bharatiya Janata Party s (BJP s) Poribortan Yatra from South 24 Paragans in West Bengal on Thursday, Union Home Minister and former party president Amit Shah said the BJP will put the state on the path for development, in an exclusive interview with Times Now.
He said the Trinamool Congress government has been unsuccessful in developing the state. He expressed discontentment after visiting Gangasagar, saying the holy place is polluted. He added that all the trees in the area where Kapil Muni s ashram is situated have been slashed too.

Kolkata: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday vowed to put every accused behind bars who were instrumental in killing 130 BJP workers in Bengal if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is voted to power in the coming West Bengal Assembly polls. He was speaking at a rally in WB’s Namkhana.
Shah also promised to conduct a high-level investigation into alleged Cyclone Amphan corruption. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent money for the victims of Cyclone Amphan but Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons did not allow the money to reach people. The common people have been deprived of the benefits,” the Home Minister said.
