Veeps Begins Equipping 60+ Live Nation Venues With Livestream Tech

Veeps, a livestreaming company co-founded by Good Charlotte’s Joel and Benji Madden, have started to equip 60+ U.S. concert venues operated by Live Nation Entertainment with the technology to livestream concerts. Once installed, artists performing at the venues will be able to broadcast their shows “with the flip of a switch.”
Fillmores in San Francisco and Philadelphia, House Of Blues in Chicago and New Orleans, Los Angeles’ The Wiltern, Shoreline Amphitheatre in California and Washington’s The Gorge are just a few of the venues that will be optimized for livestreams. Veeps and Live Nation set up The Wiltern already and announced a series of 10 Veeps livestreams entitled “From The Wiltern” spanning May 7 – July 9.

The biggest name in concert promotion, Live Nation, and livestreaming platform Veeps have begun equipping more than 60 U.S. concert venues for quick turnaround streamed concerts, the companies announced Tuesday.
Among the outdoor venues and clubs set to go live first are the Fillmore in San Francisco and Philadelphia, the House of Blues in Chicago and New Orleans, the Wiltern in Los Angeles and the Shoreline Amphitheater in California and the Gorge in Washington.
