A family were shocked to discover a massive carpet python had slithered inside their home and took up refuge in their toilet paper stash.
Stuart McKenzie from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers was called to a home on Thursday near Ilkley in the Sunshine Coast region when he found the serpent sleeping in a toilet roll basket.
The family couldn t believe their eyes when they spotted the python curled up inside their bathroom on top of a dryer.
A Queensland family found a 3metre long carpet python sleeping in their toilet paper stash I walked out and my daughter walked in. She came out screaming, the mother said.

Others took the high road and admitted they had no idea where the reptile was lurking. How the hell did I survive seven years in Australia? one person commented. I can never see these bloody snakes.

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers will release the name of the winner on Monday.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers owner Stuart Mckenzie later identified the species of the snake as a brown tree snake.

A Queensland snake catcher, conducting a routine roof inspection, quickly realised the home had been welcoming the reptiles for quite some time.
Queensland snake catchers are always busy bundling up the rogue animals from family homes before transporting them back to the bush.
But one snake catcher was called to a slightly different job when a Sunshine Coast family booked him to conduct a routine roof inspection.
Dave, from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers, popped his head into the family s roof, expecting to perhaps see one snake, but instead found dozens of skins littered through the area.
