HALF MOON BAY, Calif. - A fire Friday night gutted the historic Andreotti Family Farms barn that was home to a popular produce stand in Half Moon Bay.
The blaze was reported shortly after 8 p.m. at 329 Kelly Ave. and Coastside Fire Protection District firefighters arrived to find the barn fully engulfed in flames, Cal Fire officials said.
The two-alarm fire threatened other buildings but was contained to the barn in less than 30 minutes, a Cal Fire spokesperson said. No injuries were reported.
The cause is under investigation. Power lines were found down upon arrival of the first arriving fire crews and PG&E responded to the scene.

A historic barn that housed a fruit stand in Half Moon Bay was destroyed in a fire Friday night, officials said.
Roughly 35 firefighters battled the blaze, which had fully engulfed the Andreotti Family Farms’ Historical Barn Produce Stand at 329 Kelly Avenue, said Battalion Chief David Hibdon of Coastside Fire Protection District, a Cal Fire agency.
The stand was part of the nearly 100-year-old family farm that operates a popular pumpkin patch in the fall, grows sunflowers and produce and offers classes to the community.
Last weekâs mudslide evacuation marked the first-ever activation of the Community Emergency Response Team as part of a new collaboration between the volunteer group and the San Mateo Countyâs Emergency Operations Center.Â
During the evacuation warning issued on Jan. 25, CERT volunteers from across the Coastside provided on-the-ground communication for residents in the southern part of San Mateo County, the same area evacuated last summer during the August CZU Lightning Complex fires.Â
Volunteers knocked on doors, posted flyers about the areaâs mudslide risk and radioed in updates that worked their way up to the countyâs emergency operations center in Redwood City.Â
