With more than 30 years of health care experience, Razmic most recently was COO of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens. Before that, she was COO and CFO of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. • Former Jacksonville Mayor and University of North Florida President John Delaney rejoined the Timucuan Parks Foundation board of directors. In 1999, Delaney created the Preservation Project Jacksonville, known now as the Timucuan Parks Foundation. It supports, protects and promotes the network of preserves and the partnership between the city of Jacksonville, Florida State Parks and the National Park Service. Delaney is a shareholder in the Rogers Towers law firm’s Governmental and Regulatory Law Department and a principal in The Fiorentino Group. Delaney was on the PPJ board from 1999-2003 and served a year on the board in 2005 when it was Preservation North Florida.

Baptist Health begins COVID-19 vaccinations for staff in Jacksonville About 250 front-line health care staff at Jacksonville-based Baptist Health began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine Friday. The voluntary vaccinations were offered first to physicians and other medical professionals in COVID-19 units, intensive care units and emergency centers. Tujuana Dudley, nurse manager at a COVID-19 unit at Baptist Medical Center South, was the first in line. I know it’s my duty to receive the vaccine to keep those around me safe,  said Dudley, who lost a family member recently to COVID-19. From the time the pandemic first arrived in March, we’ve seen firsthand how COVID-19 can impact patients, their families and our community.

Ascension St Vincent s begins COVID-19 vaccine for Jacksonville staff

Ascension St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville began administering the COVID-19 vaccine to its frontline health care staff Thursday as shipments continue to make their way to Northeast Florida hospitals. Among the first recipients was Estrellita Redmon, an internal medicine physician and chief medical officer of Ascension Medical Group for Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast. Caregivers continue to lead by example and I encourage everyone in the communities we serve to get vaccinated when it’s made available to you, Redmon said. She particularly encourages high-risk, marginalized individuals and people of color to get the vaccine because they been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
