Winter Priorities Dec 18, 2020 The monthly Pulse Report asks marine dealers to weigh in on how they are spending the winter months following a summer and fall that saw new-boat demand spike. The five-question survey was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013 to take the pulse of monthly retail conditions. Soundings Trade Only partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results. The survey analyzes such industry data points as new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. It also includes the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, which gauges retailer confidence.

Safety at Sea Dec 11, 2020 The Sea Tow Foundation announced the winners of its National Boating Industry Safety Awards at the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas virtual Dealer Week. The awards held in conjunction with its North American Sober Skipper Advisory Council and sponsored by Kicker Marine Audio honor boating safety efforts from the previous year. With six winners, it is the largest awards held to date by the Sober Skipper Advisory Council. Don’t wait until you’re in pain.”
