SBA grants open to arts venue operators

Theaters, museums, art show venues and promoters that canceled their exhibits or concerts last year because of COVID-19 restrictions could now be eligible for federal economic assistance.  The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering grants to eligible live venue operators, live performing arts organizations, museums and movie theatres, as well as theatrical producers and talent representatives or agencies.  “The SBA is committed to moving as quickly as possible to deliver this vital funding effectively and equitably — ensuring relief goes to those venue operators whose revenues have been most impacted by the pandemic,” SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman said in a press release.
