Watch out! Stricter fines for flouting covid norms coming your way

the Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Regulations 2020 more stringent by increasing the penalty for violations of
covid rules in public places. As per these new changes that come into force immediately, a person driving alone in a car has to wear a mask if any of the car windows are rolled down.
In an official statement issued by Jawaid Akhtar, Additional Chief Secretary,
Health Department, owners of non-air-conditioned
party halls, department stores will be slapped with a penalty of Rs 5,000 for violation of the rules on wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
