Today marks 90 years since the birth of one of the most evil men in American history, Jim Jones – a cult leader who forced over 900 followers, many of them children, to drink cyanide-laced fruit punch in the depths of the world s densest jungle.
The devastating act of mass murder was, up until the 9/11 attacks, the largest single incident of intentional civilian death in American history.

NEW YORK The families of hundreds of unarmed Black Americans killed by cops in the last 20 years, plus the Communist Party USA and 169 other groups, have formally asked the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to comprehensively investigate and report on the slayings, along with recommendations for reform.

I WAS SEVEN YEARS OLD when World War II ended, but I remember the way the war lived in our house. Both my parents were secular, non-Zionist Jewish immigrants and lifelong followers of the Soviet Union, which they believed would end exploitation, poverty, and racism. My siblings and I have memories of blacked-out windows and air raid sirens and the sound of incessant war reports on the radio, which my father turned up as loudly as possible to drown out the normal din of childhood. He raved almost daily, waving his fists in the air, cursing the “Nazi swine!” and obsessively following the progress of the Red Army, which he hoped would save not only the Jews but the entire human race. I cannot recall my parents talking about what many American Jews of that period considered the promised land, the Zionist project in Palestine.

As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”
Several other major companies, including Amazon, Netflix, and WarnerMedia, plan to boycott the HFPA, which runs the Golden Globes.

In recent years, the number of Christians identifying as “Christian Socialists” or “Christian Communists” has skyrocketed in a way not seen in over 40 years. Sarah Ngu, in her 2020 article “Why These Young American Christians Embrace Socialism” wrote the following: “Over the past three years, some American Christians have rediscovered this tradition and found themselves gravitating to socialism in all its varieties, from democratic socialism to full-fledged communism.” Gary Dorrien, a professor of social ethics at Union Theological Seminary, writes “The revival (of Christian socialism) is a Christian flank of the current upsurge for democratic socialist”. For the most part, the orthodox Christian community has remained silent about this growing trend, seemingly oblivious to the dangers. It’s time we acknowledged how the Trojan Horse of Socialism entered the Church, and fight back.
