KLKN-TV LPD: Police locate car stolen from Seward in March LPD arrested a man who allegedly stole a car, his friend s stuff, and a TV April 15, 2021 10:52 am LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- On April 14, around 3 a.m., Lincoln police were called to the Country Inn and Suites at 1301 W Bond Circle on the report of a larceny. When they arrived on scene, officers reported talking to the victim, a 22-year-old woman, who told them she had been staying with her friend, 35-year-old Matthew Huston, when he stole her backpack and the TV from the hotel room they were staying in. The victim also reported to officers that she had seen Huston and another man putting the TV in the back of a white Dodge pick-up. LPD says that when Huston returned to the hotel, the staff called officers and they got to him as he was trying to leave.

INDEPENDENCE MAN FACING FELONY FOR ALLEGEDLY SUPPLYING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE TO CELLMATE

A 26-year-old independence man has been charged with a felony for allegedly supplying a controlled substance to another inmate at the Pettis County Jail on March 31. According to A sheriff’s report, an inmate said he was given some white crystal-like substance by his cellmate, Devin Moeller. Moeller told a guard that he and the victim had found something in their cell. Moeller said it was either methamphetamine or cocaine. Tossing the cell, the guard located a small clear container, and inside the container was a white crystal-like substance that field tested to be methamphetamine inside a rolled-up mat that was issued to Moeller.

During the search, Warren was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Warren posted bail and is currently out of custody. Deputies executed an additional search warrant April 13 in Rainier. During the service of the search warrant, investigators recovered several hundred dollars in cash, 5 firearms, 17.2 grams of heroin, drug transaction records and fentanyl test strips.

Selbyville men arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

Delaware State Police arrested 29-year-old Garrett Allbritton of Selbyville and a 61-year-old man, also of Selbyville, on drug charges on Wednesday, April 14, following a traffic stop. According to the DSP, around 3:19 p.m. on Wednesday, troopers were conducting proactive patrol on Nine Foot Road, Dagsboro, when they observed a red Volvo make an abrupt lane change without properly signaling. A traffic stop was initiated, and contact was made with the operator, Garret Allbritton, and a 61-year-old male passenger. Through the interaction with the individuals, a criminal investigation ensued, police said, and both subjects complied with exiting the vehicle.  Located on Garrett’s person was approximately 0.056 grams of suspected heroin. Located on the male passenger was suspected drug paraphernalia and approximately 0.054 grams of suspected heroin. A search of the vehicle revealed additional suspected drug paraphernalia, police said.
