SAN ANTONIO The Castle Hills Police Department found drugs inside a vehicle after the driver reportedly attempted to run from authorities.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in the area of Blanco and Dresden Drive.
Police said the driver was leaving a known drug dealer s house and then committed a traffic violation.
Police attempted to pull the driver over, but he took off. A chase began, reaching speeds of up to 80 MPH.
Authorities said two people were inside the vehicle. The driver stopped the car and both of them got out to attempt to run. They were caught a short time later.

On Saturday, March 27, at about 11:13 hours, Deputy Simpson responded to the Mukewater Cemetery on County Road 175. This was in regards to fences being damaged and a license plate being found on scene. The victim had two fences damaged including the fence against the cemetery. The license plate retrieved from the scene came back to a stolen vehicle from Friday. On Sunday, March 28, at about 17:11 hours, Deputy Thomas responded to County Road 173 in regards to more damaged fences. The victim stated he had seen a grey pickup pull into his drive and leave. The victim later noticed the damages to his property.
