Following the presentation, council then met in a half-hour in-camera session behind closed doors to discuss the issue further. In the end, there was no public decision announced and it is not immediately clear in the aftermath of the meeting what the next steps are for the city in addressing the dilapidated property. The city has been attempting for months to take action against the property, starting with the issuing of a demolition order on Aug. 27, 2020. The order came in the wake of a building inspection report from Aug. 25, 2020, that cited numerous deficiencies, including broken windows, cracked and missing siding, broken doors, boarded up windows and doors, concerns that the garage wall could collapse, and problems with the interior including broken or missing light fixtures.

Police have arrested and charged Shaquille King, a 25 year old Soca Artiste of Arnos Vale with possession of a Controlled Drug, Drug Trafficking and Exportation.
The Police say according to investigations, the accused allegedly had in his possession two thousand, nine hundred and forty three (2,943) grammes of cannabis with intent to supply it to another.
He was further charged with having in his possession two thousand, nine hundred and forty three (2,943) grammes of cannabis for the purpose of Drug Trafficking.
Former Spaulding employee indicted on charges of assault, drug possession
May 06, 2021CONCORD Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Thomas John Ball Poirier (age 39) of Tilton has been indicted by the New Hampshire Multicounty Grand Jury on charges of First Degree Assault on a person under 13 years of age, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Conduct, Obtaining a Controlled Drug by Deceit, and Possession of a Controlled Drug.
Mr. Poirier was formerly employed at Spaulding Academy and Family Services in Northfield. The charges allege that between Dec. 15 and 22 of last year, Mr. Poirier stole Methylphenidate, commonly known under the brand name Ritalin, which had been prescribed to Spaulding s residents, some of whom were children under the age of 13. The charges further allege that Mr. Poirier replaced the stolen medication with an unknown substance, and that, in doing so, he caused serious bodily harm to two children residing at Spaulding Academy and Family Services.

Nine people were arrested on drug-related offenses by the Timmins Police Service after a “coordinated execution of search warrants” at residences on Rea Street South and James Avenue Tuesday evening.
Fentanyl and crack cocaine made up the bulk of the drugs seized at those locations.

According to police, the street value of the drugs that were seized would amount to $211,310.
An ongoing investigation by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Timmins Police Service led to the execution of the warrants by the Emergency Response Team (TPS) while working in conjunction with platoon officers.
Two people are facing charges following reports of a suspicious vehicle in Tyendinaga Township.
Lennox and Addington OPP responded to the report on a golf course located off of Old Highway 2, to find the driver and passenger sleeping inside a running vehicle.
An investigation determined that the driver was showing signs of impairment and police located and seized suspected Fentanyl, credit cards and personal documents.
Both the driver and passenger were subsequently arrested and transported to detachment for processing.
