But for too long, construction has been able to ignore or simply pay lip service to climate change. That’s finally changing for the better.
It’s undeniable that the UK industry has made huge progress in the past few years – but part of the problem has been a lack of good, solid data about the industry’s real impact. Almost every major contractor is now doing a decent job of measuring their own carbon impact, but we still lack a holistic view of how we’re doing as a sector.
