BSE, ESC sign MoU to encourage SME and startup listing ANI | Updated: Jun 01, 2021 14:47 IST Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 1 (ANI): BSE Ltd (earlier known as Bombay Stock Exchange) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) to create awareness about benefits of listing among information and communications technology (ICT) SMEs and startups. ESC works as a bridge between the government and industry on policy and promotional issues. It has membership of over 2,300 ICT exporters covering the entire gamut of electronics and IT industry in areas like consumer electronics, components, instrumentation, telecommunications, computer hardware and peripherals, computer software and IT-enabled services.

 0 The BSE signed an MoU with the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) on Tuesday to create awareness about benefits of listing among ICT SMEs and start-ups of the country.   The ESC is an organisation sponsored by the government with a mandate to promote export of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector from the country and works as a bridge between the government and industry on policy and promotional matters.   It has a strong membership of over 2,300 ICT exporters covering the entire gamut of electronics and IT industry in the areas like consumer electronics, components, instrumentation, telecommunications, computer hardware and peripherals, computer software, and IT-enabled Services.

Electronic hardware, software exports likely to see flat to marginal growth in FY’21: ESC PTI New Delhi | Updated on April 20, 2021 Industry body ESC on Tuesday said exports of electronics hardware and computer software are estimated to have logged “flat to marginal growth” in 2020-21, and that growth could be moderate for the first quarter of 2021-22 given the Covid-19 situation. For 2019-20, member companies comprising both software and electronics hardware segments registered about $157 billion in exports, Sandeep Narula, chairman of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) told PTI. Of this, about $145 billion was from software exports, and $12 billion from the hardware segment.

Blueprints of public digital platforms in education,  agriculture, and primary sector are in an advanced stage; plans are being made for platforms for matching jobs with skills and for logistics, Sawhney said at India Soft 2021, a online conference organised by Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).
