Palghar: Disaster averted in govt hospital after Nashik-like leakage of oxygen BySandhya NairSandhya Nair / Updated: May 5, 2021, 08:18 IST A disaster was averted after a leakage in a liquid oxygen tank of a government Covid-19 hospital in Vikramgad, Palghar district, was noticed by staff who immediately provided the 90 patients on oxygen with cylinders on Monday night. In the April 21 oxygen leak in a Nashik hospital, 24 Covid patients died as oxygen supply was discontinued for around 30 minutes. The 200-bed Revera Dedicated Covid Hospital, spread over 54 acres, was a private facility, handed over to the district administration last year for free. The apex health research body issued the advisory in view of laboratories facing challenges to meet the expected testing target.

They argue that modern ultra low dose CT Scanners emit radiation that is comparable to barely about 5-10 X-rays.
