Image of a PCUK pin with the accompanying words In memory of those lost to pancreatic cancer This Wednesday 9th December, Rosebery School celebrated the two-year anniversary of Alan Celine who died from pancreatic cancer. The maths teacher, known for his massively entertaining assemblies, passion in teaching, and love of puzzles and music passed away in 2018. Students were encouraged to wear purple accessories on Wednesday, the colour for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Many of Sixth Form dressed in purple too, with voluntary donations. Pins and key rings were on sale from the beginning of the week to raise money, as well as purple ribbons handed out at the gates on Wednesday morning.
