Samsung’s new Galaxy Book laptop lineup is taking its cues from Galaxy smartphones.
This year, Samsung has been very busy. The company recently launched its new affordable Galaxy A Series smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (the best smartphone on the market), the excellent Galaxy Bud Pro earbuds. Now, the Korean tech giant is rolling out a pair of new laptops.
Wednesday (Apr.28), Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy Book Pro 360 ($1199) and Galaxy Book Pro ($999) laptops. The new laptops are a combination of powerful performance and the mobile DNA of a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. These new computing devices feature AMOLED displays that Samsung promises will take your “entertainment to the next level” by delivering rich colors and sharp screens, something we have become used to from Samsung by using their smartphones while at the same time not jacking up your eyes.

Long gone are the days where Apple was the sole manufacturer of elegant laptops. Quite frankly, Apple has become a bit stagnant with its designs. Truth be told, makers of Windows laptops (such as Samsung, HP, and Huawei) have met or exceeded Apple s MacBook looks. Best of all, these Windows notebooks are often much more affordable than Apple s offerings too. Not to mention, they typically have touch screens!
Today, Samsung unveils its newest Windows 10 laptops and not only are they thin and beautiful, but quite powerful too. You see, they are powered by 11th-generation Intel Core processors. There is the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 the former is a traditional laptop, while the latter is a convertible.

After a couple of months of rumors, Samsung today held a Galaxy Unpacked event to unveil its new Galaxy Book Pro family of laptops, consisting of the Galaxy Book Pro clamshell and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 convertible. The new laptops come with the latest silicon from Intel, featuring either an Intel Core i5 or i7, along with Iris Xe graphics. Each model comes in 13-inch and 15-inch variants.
A standout feature of both the Galaxy Book Pro 360 is the Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy Book Pro has an AMOLED display, all of which are Full HD (1920x1080). AMOLED display are still somewhat rare in the PC space, so that s something Samsung has going for its devices.
