Jamie Nye: Saskatchewan one of the leaders in CFL getting fans in the stands

Regina / 980 CJME Apr 23, 2021 8:07 AM If the CFL needs fans back in the stands, it won’t surprise me if Saskatchewan doesn’t set the tone and potentially the standard for the entire league. Regina Exhibition Association Limited has handled a lot during this pandemic. It has safely hosted minor hockey in the fall, it came up with the plan for the outdoor rink to bring people in and out of Mosaic Stadium safely, the WHL hub has been handled extremely well and all of this is going on with mass testing and now vaccination clinics on the same grounds. If there was ever a group that was up for the task to come up with safety protocols on how to get people in and out of the stadium safely, REAL is highly trusted.

Canada s Farm Show moves online for 2021

One of the premier agricultural events of the year, the show was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Regina Exhibition Association Limited announced the event is a go in 2021 but it’s moving virtual. “We were hoping to be able to do something in an in-person fashion but with what we’re seeing with COVID-19 and the challenges we’re facing across Canada, it just wasn’t realistic,” said REAL CEO Tim Reid.
