Maryland hospitals, nursing homes will receive COVID-19 vaccines in next two weeks

Hogan also announced he has reactivated the Maryland National Guard, a constant presence throughout the coronavirus response, to help provide logistical support to the vaccination effort. On Monday, the first COVID-19 vaccines were administered in Maryland. It will take many weeks to fully ramp up the production and distribution of vaccines. but these vaccines really do offer us hope that we are reaching the final phase of this global pandemic, Hogan said.
