‘I’m heartbroken’: Mum of Brent Cross stabbing victim Gedeon Ngwadema says he had a bright future ahead of him John Dunne and Barney Davis
A man stabbed to death at a shopping centre in Brent Cross has been named by his family as Gedeon Ngwadema.
His mother, Thethe Elonga, collapsed and broke down in tears as she arrived to lay flowers at the scene on Wednesday morning.
She told the Standard: “I’m heartbroken. He was a wonderful boy, respectful and lovely. He did very well at school and had a very bright future ahead of him.”
The family said Gedeon, 21, had been out shopping with his mother, he returned home and then received a call from a friend. He went out and his family never saw him alive again.

Police have issued a picture of a teenager who sustained fatal injuries after being stabbed near a north London Tube station. A 16-YEAR-old boy was stabbed to death last night - as police desperately search for the knifeman.
The London Ambulance Service alerted cops to the stabbing on Preston Road in Wembley, London, shortly after 11.30pm.

Officers attended and found a 16-year-old boy with stab injuries.
The teen was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Cops this afternoon announced that the teenager had died and detectives have now launched a murder investigation.
A crime scene has been put in place in Preston Road, between the junctions of Logan Road and The Avenue, affecting local bus routes.
