Cambridge City School District recognizes that communication with families and residents of the district about events, activities, and the daily decisions that impact the school district is important.
“As a school district, we communicate with several different audiences that include students, parents and community members,” Superintendent Dan Coffman said. “We want to try to reach those audiences in as many reliable, timely, and affordable ways as possible.”

Cambridge district taking comments on 2021-22 school calendar

The Cambridge City School District Board of Education opened a public hearing period on the 2021-22 school calendar at the board meeting Tuesday evening.
According to Superintendent Dan Coffman, the intent is to have the board adopt the school calendar, which is established with input from the staff and community, at the February meeting.
“The school calendar, as we know from the last two school years, can change once its approved, but it does establish a start date for the school year as well as when holidays will be observed,” Coffman said. “We like to adopt the school calendar as soon as possible so our families can utilize that information to make holiday and vacation plans.”
