The nation s school children were among those watching the violence unfold Wednesday at the nation’s Capitol, which led educators to re-think their lesson plans for Thursday.
Most educators tend to agree the Washington, D.C. disruptions have resulted in a series of teachable moments, which appeared to have been the case in Baltimore County.
“It s not to tell them our political views, it s not to make judgements but it s to create space for our young kids,” said Dundalk Elementary School Principal Michael Parker.
