2,975 New COVID-19 Cases, 16 More Virus-Related Deaths Reported In State, Health Officials Say
Sixteen more virus-related deaths and 2,975 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Wednesday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 248,204 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 2,144, the state health department said on Thursday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 3,250, the state health department said.
Six people died in Oklahoma County; one woman and two men aged 65 or older and three men aged 50 to 64.
Four men aged 65 or older died in Custer County.
