A TEACHER from a Tamil school in Pengkalan Hulu, Perak, has won a special award for her essay at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, Makkal Osai reported.

The 32-year-old from Negri Sembilan began selling apartments in Taipei, Taiwan, last year after getting a real estate agent’s licence.According to Lee’s manager, she originally had 13 concerts lined up for the Weiya celebration this year but they were cancelled after the mutated Covid-19 strain which caused a sharp rise in cases in the United Kingdom was found in Taiwan recently.
ACTRESS Samantha Ko
(pic) has refuted claims that she is renewing her contract with TVB in exchange for getting the Television Queen title during the Hong Kong broadcasting station’s anniversary awards,
Sin Chew Daily reported.
She has acted in four dramas aired last year and her chances of getting the crown are high.
Ko is likely to compete with other actresses like Katy Kung and Sisley Choi for the coveted title.
Currently filming a drama in China, her popularity might have prompted TVB to renew her contract earlier than expected and speculation had it that if she chose to renew her contract she might win the TV Queen title.

A Nigerian man by the name of “Innocent” has pleaded guilty to cheating the manager of a property company who lost up to RM339,610, Utusan Malaysia reported.
Innocent Uchechukwu Christian (pic), 27, confessed to cheating the 52-year-old woman into investing in a marine product supply project and transferring money into 11 different accounts.
However, Innocent’s fiancée M. Suvitha, 38, who is seven months pregnant, pleaded not guilty to the same charge.
The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court did not grant bail to Innocent who does not have a passport while Suvitha was given bail of RM5,000.
