Has issues handling leverage.
Lateral mobility isn’t ideal, but the length helps cover some issues there.
Height makes it awkward to drop his butt into an anchor because it stills gives plenty of space for leverage from defenders.
Needs a lot of technical refinement and development.
Needs more power and strength in his lower body.
Looks lean and could use to add about 10-15 pounds.
Needs a quicker kick slide to hander faster rushers around the corner.
Struggles with a change of direction pass rush moves.
Overview
Playing at a smaller school has kept Brown somewhat under the radar in the public eye. His tape is great and he consistently flashes the talent and potential he has to be a great NFL offensive tackle.
Concern about him being an older rookie at 24 years old (birthday is March 23, 1997).
With his size and position, the concerns come from the length of his career, especially with his aggressive nature as a player.
Could have more technique in his release packages to help get him going quicker and easier.
Catch radius isn’t small, but it isn’t a big one, either.
Can get a little too cute after the catch or as a returner and needs to be a little more decisive.
Overview
Eskridge has really risen up boards thanks to a strong Senior Bowl performance that really caught a lot of folks’ attention. While he may be limited to a slot receiver, he can attack every level of the field.
Shouldn’t be used in a two-gapping defense, but a one-gap that will let him penetrate.
Strength isn’t there to hold two gaps but is there to try and drive through a blocker.
Lack of strength also shows up when handling double teams.
Can get caught up in his attempt to penetrate and lose sight of the ball.
Has good and pretty consistent effort, but every now and then you see him kick it up a notch and you want that from him full time.
Sometimes his reads on plays lead him wrong, so needs to put in the time in the film room to better his football IQ.
Cons
Concern about speed rushers getting around his outside shoulder unless he can pick up the quickness of his kick slide.
It was clear that he outmatched the level of competition he was facing and did show signs of struggles when at the Senior Bowl.
Could use the time to bulk up and create more mass, which would help when he has to drop and anchor against bull rushers.
Overview
Scheme versatile and position versatile are two big values with offensive linemen and Radunz has that. He can play either side of the line at tackle and even move inside if he fails at tackle.
