In yet another social media shitstorm, Malaysians are accusing the road authorities of double standards after they swiftly apologized to Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin – popularly known as KJ by Malaysians – for a cycling injury he received caused by a pothole.
On the afternoon of December 27, 2020, Jamaluddin took to Twitter to tell his followers about the unfortunate cycling accident that happened along a road in the town of Banting, Selangor.
In his tweet, Jamaluddin included three pictures including a mugshot of his injured visage, and the offending pothole in question. The caption in his tweet simply read Pothole, ditch, KJ. 2020 keeps giving.

COVID-19 | Last week’s spat between Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin and DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang over Covid-19 vaccines highlighted an important feature of the procurement process - non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
Why do pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and Moderna impose NDAs in the first place? Are NDAs common? Who stands to benefit from such secrecy?
To answer these questions, we spoke to two experts - health policies specialist Dr Khor Swee Kheng and Lim Chee Han, a health economics and public health researcher.

It s not fair for the Kuala Langat Public Works Department to issue an apology only when accident victims are ministers, Kuala Langat PKR Youth said today.
