Blockchain tracking the way to go in vaccine distribution Going blockchain has become a trend in developed countries.
IN his latest blog post, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said his ministry has incorporated blockchain technology into the Covid-19 Vaccine Management System to “ensure every dose ends up in the arms of the rakyat”. This is really an excellent move that should be lauded because Khairy really knows what he is talking about. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba

“Based on our modelling, the infectivity rate (R0) is currently at 0.87 compared to 0.9 two weeks ago.
“Our projections show that if the downward trend goes on and people continue to follow the SOPs, the number of cases will go down to 500 cases a day in May.
“But if people do not adhere to the SOPs, the infectivity rate could go up to 1.1 and that would make daily cases increase again.
“So I am pleading with the public to continue following Covid-19 SOPs and help break this chain of infection, ” said Dr Adham at a joint press conference with Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on the latest updates of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
