Book sale and signing, Broken & Beloved
Bloomington author Feli Sebastian will host a signing and sale of their book Broken & Beloved from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Coffeehouse in Uptown Normal. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. A portion of the event s proceeds will go to support Bloomington s Labyrinth Outreach.
Children s Discovery Museum s Reindeer Riddles
Until Dec. 31, the Children s Discovery Museum will be hosting a holiday hunt. Santa s reindeer have hidden riddles in Uptown Normal store windows. Participants who find and answer these riddles have a chance to win $500 cash.
Participants must purchase a $15 Reindeer Riddle Card from the museum either in person or online. Participants can also earn up to five additional entries by making five individual purchases of $10 or more from a participating uptown shop. The completed game cards must be turned into the museum before Jan. 11 to be entered in the raffle

HOLIDAY ART DISPLAY: The “From Russia with Art Holiday” exhibit will be on display at The Picture Place, 320A Harvard St., Brookline, through Dec. 30.
The exhibition is open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays.
The exhibition is curated by Olesya and Jerry Koenig and Tom Coppi. Masks and social distancing are required. Etchings, oil paintings and mixed media will be on display.
Featured artists are Anatoly Dverin, Alexander Korman, Misha Lenn, Stanislav Nikireev, Alexander Vetrov, Irena Makoveeva, George Lapchinsky and Vladimir Vorobyov.
