As we’re waiting for automakers to release their 2020 sales figures, it’s worth remembering the most successful Subaru in the U.S. from a commercial standpoint. From January through the end of November, the most popular nameplate is the Forester, and I’m not exactly surprised. 21 photos
At $24,795 excluding destination charge, it’s pretty good value if you remember that all-wheel drive comes standard. The entry-level specification isn’t bad in terms of safety eighter thanks to EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. Better still, the Starlink touchscreen multimedia system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.
Subaru has launched the WRX and WRX STI for the new model year, with pricing starting at $27,495 and $37,245 respectively, excluding destination.
The only novelty represents the introduction of keyless entry and go on the Premium trim level, a feature previously reserved for the WRX Limited.
The lineup kicks off with the base variant, offered with a 6.5-inch infotainment system with smartphone integration and Bluetooth, reversing camera, 5.9-inch multi-info LCD display, USB ports, electrically adjustable side mirrors, automatic climate control and several other amenities.
With additional gear, such as the 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, power moonroof, heated front seats, larger infotainment screen, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, the WRX Premium starts at $30,045.

We have good news if you want a 2021 Subaru WRX or WRX STI. The new Subaru WRX has the same base price as last year, but the Japanese carmaker has given it more standard kit. Starting at $27,495, Subaru’s rally-bred, four-door sedan remains standard with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, active torque vectoring, and a six-speed manual transmission (Subaru’s Sport Lineatronic CVT automatic is optional).
Power remains courtesy of a turbocharged 2.0-liter Boxer engine with direct injection, good for 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The base WRX variant comes with automatic climate control, dual USB ports, remote keyless entry, roof rack mounting brackets, and an Incline Start Assist system.
