Good News: Benicia students land on University of Utah fall 2020 dean’s list
Several local students made the list. They include:
Benicia students Luna Esmerode, whose major is listed as ballet and English; Sam Enke, whose major is listed as environmental and sustainable studies; Margaret Bergen, whose major is listed as pre biology; and Kathy Wright, whose major is listed as psychology.
Their accomplishments were listed in a press release from the university.
To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

EAU CLAIRE â When Madelynn Branco learned girls were allowed to join Scouts BSA in February 2019, the Eau Claire teenager knew immediately she wanted to be part of the iconic organization.
Less than two years later, Branco, 16, will make history today when she is set to become one of the nationâs first female Eagle Scouts â the highest rank in scouting.
Branco, a junior at Memorial High School, will be the first girl from Scouts BSAâs Chippewa Valley Council and among hundreds nationwide who will make up inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts.
Let there be no doubt, this member of Troop 124G is driven to succeed.
