The oil company confirmed both individuals worked for service providers conducting maintenance activities at their Horizon site. It’s unclear if these individuals lived in the RMWB as Alberta Health doesn’t release personal information on any cases. These deaths come days after a Suncor contractor also passed away from complications from the virus. Daily Update Fort McMurray is seeing a slight drop in active COVID-19 cases. The province also announced on Thursday 2,211 new cases in the province over the past 24 hours.
