Thanks to the generosity of over 2,000 donors from across Canada, Canadian Foodgrains Bank has now reached its fundraising goal of $770,000 to support small-scale farmers affected by COVID-19.
That money is matched on a 3:1 basis through a Government of Canada special emergency grant. The grant is funding projects that help approximately 100,000 small-scale farmers and their families in several eastern African countries weather the COVID-19 pandemic.
