He had been diagnosed with COVID-19, which Parkes didn’t find out until three weeks after his death at Orchard Villa in Pickering. She also didn’t know he was suffering from an untreated urinary tract infection when he passed away. It was made worse by malnutrition and dehydration due to a staffing collapse amid a virus outbreak at the facility.

A new study is trying to offer alternatives to seniors on sleeping pills. Ken Gallant was taking medication for sleeping and anxiety when he had a scary experience driving on a busy street that ultimately led to him losing his license. I was passing out. All of a sudden I looked at the traffic light and it was zooming in and out in my eyes, and I started shaking, he said.
