Police said a 16-year-old male from the home was not there when bodies were found and he was later located
By Sunday night they announced a 16-year-old boy was charged with four counts of murder in the incident, but have not identified him

ELKVIEW, W.Va. (AP) Police have released the names of four people who were fatally shot in southern West Virginia.
The bodies were found Sunday at the home in Elkview. Kanawha County Sheriff Mike Rutherford on Monday identified the victims as Daniel Dale Long, 37; Risa Mae Saunders, 39, Gage Ripley, 12, and Jameson Long, 3.
Rutherford has said all of the victims are related. He said each victim appeared to have been shot.
A 16-year-old male has been charged in the deaths, Rutherford said.
