JACKSONVILLE – Trevor Lawrence impressed Thursday. He looked great, Urban Meyer said.
That was the Jaguars head coach s impression of the rookie quarterback following a productive Day 6 of 2021 Organized Team Activities presented by Baptist Health Thursday. The No. 1 overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, Lawrence was accurate throughout team drills Thursday – completing multiple long passes, including touchdowns to wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. and tight end James O Shaughnessy.

JACKSONVILLE – This made sense for many reasons.
Continuity was one. Fit was another, and that was a major reason Jaguars Head Coach Urban Meyer felt good about Nick Sorensen. Nick came extremely highly recommended by guys on our staff who had worked with him, Meyer said Thursday following Day 6 of 2021 Organized Team Activities presented by Baptist Health at the Dream Finders Homes Practice Fields.
Sorensen, a veteran of eight years NFL coaching, officially joined the Jaguars as Special Teams Coordinator on Monday. He replaced Brian Schneider, who stepped away for personal reasons after being hired for the position in February.
WR DJ Chark Jr. has added seven pounds of muscle after an early offseason conversation with Jaguars Head Coach Urban Meyer, “I’m not hiding from the weight room; I’m pretty excited, I like it…”
