On the eve of Super Bowl Sunday, the Connecticut Department of Public Health warned residents to avoid mingling with people outside of their immediate household.
But even as a forecast winter storm threatens to dump up to nine inches of snow on the festivities, restaurant owners say they still have high hopes for the day.
Casey Dohne, owner of The Blind Rhino in South Norwalk and Bridgeport, said he’s worried about the snow, but has also taken “the most pre-orders we’ve ever had.”

Beginning Monday, February 8 hotline will have expanded hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 7 days per week. Call 877-918-2224. A total of 125 trained contact specialists will answer calls and will have the capability of booking up to 10,000 appointments per week at 12 locations across Connecticut.
