THOMASTON An injured bald eagle is recovering from a wing injury after a hiker found it hiding in a ditch near Thomaston Dam on Wednesday.
Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police said an unsuspecting hiker found the eagle injured and “unable to fly” about four miles north of Thomaston Dam.
