The first Black Police Chiefs Association president has been appointed in the state of Connecticut, officials announced.
The Connecticut Police Chiefs Association tweeted today that Danbury Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour has been appointed president of the group.
Chief Ridenhour will be the first Black police chief to lead the CPCA.
Ridenhour will assume the position next month.
