Temperatures on Sunday will rise into the upper 80s and low 90s with dew point values near 70 degrees.
Even warmer weather will arrive by Monday with inland high temperatures expected to surge into the middle 90s. These hot temperatures will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday as well.

Temperatures will once again surge into the 90s as we head into Sunday. Coupled with the high temperatures, humidity values will also increase.

Along the shoreline, a record-high temperature of 93 degrees occurred in Bridgeport. This shattered the previous record of 88 degrees set just last year.
On Monday, dew points values will rise from the 60s into the low 70s by Monday afternoon, resulting in oppressive humidity.
Much cooler air will work into the state to start the workweek on Monday.

After temperatures surged into the 80s and 90s over the weekend, much cooler air will filter into the state overnight and into the morning hours.
