The 18-year-old charged with fatally stabbing his corrections officer neighbor in Vineland last year confronted a Florida motorist with a pellet gun that resembles an AK-47 assault rifle, police said Monday.
Zachary T. Latham is charged with two counts of aggravated assault for the incident, in which he also attempted to ram the victim’s vehicle in Lee County late Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said Monday.
Authorities say 38-year-old Gerron Allen is wanted by the Megan s Law Unit with the prosecutor s office for absconding from parole and failure to register as a sex offender as per the provisions of Megan s Law. Allen is described as a black male, 5 6 tall, about 168 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.

39-year-old Richard Harold is also wanted for failure to register as a sex offender as per the provisions of Megan s Law. Harold is described as a black male, 6 tall, about 165 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Death of man found along Cumberland County road ruled a homicide

Authorities say a man whose body was found along the side of road in Cumberland County on Thursday morning was apparently shot to death, the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
The body of Jose Castro, 27, of Bridgeton, was found around 7:30 a.m. near an open field on Barretts Run Road between Greenwich and Atkinson roads, in Hopewell Township.
While his death appeared to be the result of gunshot wounds, an official cause of death is pending an autopsy.
