Four Years Later, Bridgeton Murder Remains Unsolved
A man from Bridgeton was shot and killed four years ago this month and the case still remains unsolved.
Authorities say in the early morning hours of February 25, 2017, 27-year-old Leonard R. Resto was shot in the head in an alleyway behind 135 East Avenue in Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor s Office.
On that day, Resto was one of two people shot in Bridgeton. As reported by The Press of Atlantic City, the second shooting, which was not related to the first, happened that afternoon; a man was shot in the arm while walking to the Burlington Manor Apartments.

The Florida Highway Patrol say Zachary Thomas Latham, 18, was arrested after the a motorist waved down a trooper in Fort Myers saying he was a victim of an assault. The motorist claimed another driver confronted him and brandished a firearm at him on the highway.
According to the Fort Myers News-Press, when troopers pulled over Latham s Nissan Infinity last Saturday, they found a black, airsoft BB gun that resembles to an AK-47. Latham was also charged with a second count of aggravated assault for attempting to intentionally ram the victim’s vehicle.

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - A teen facing charges in connection with the death of a New Jersey man was arrested again in Florida after a driver told authorities he was assaulted by him.
Troopers arrested Zachary Thomas Latham, 18, Saturday evening after a driver requesting assistance in Fort Myers waved down a trooper and said someone in a Nissan Infinity confronted him and brandished a gun, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a statement. Latham, they said, also had attempted to intentionally ram the victim’s car.

The 18-year-old charged with fatally stabbing his corrections officer neighbor in Vineland last year confronted a Florida motorist with a pellet gun that resembles an AK-47 assault rifle, police said Monday.
Zachary T. Latham is charged with two counts of aggravated assault for the incident, in which he also attempted to ram the victim’s vehicle in Lee County late Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said Monday.
Authorities say 38-year-old Gerron Allen is wanted by the Megan s Law Unit with the prosecutor s office for absconding from parole and failure to register as a sex offender as per the provisions of Megan s Law. Allen is described as a black male, 5 6 tall, about 168 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.

39-year-old Richard Harold is also wanted for failure to register as a sex offender as per the provisions of Megan s Law. Harold is described as a black male, 6 tall, about 165 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
