Authorities say in the early morning hours of February 25, 2017, 27-year-old Leonard R. Resto was shot in the head in an alleyway behind 135 East Avenue in Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor s Office. On that day, Resto was one of two people shot in Bridgeton. As reported by The Press of Atlantic City, the second shooting, which was not related to the first, happened that afternoon; a man was shot in the arm while walking to the Burlington Manor Apartments.
