VINELAND – The girl killed in a July 4 drive-by shooting here had just completed fourth grade at a local elementary school.
Jasayde Holder was slain late Sunday night, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. She was described by her family as creative, the prosecutor said. She loved music and riding her bike.
Along West Earl Drive, there were no visible signs Tuesday of the violent act that claimed the young girl s life.
But the impact of the drive-by shooting is there.
Iris Ruiz, a 24-year-resident of the street, returned home Monday after a holiday weekend away and was met by her son.

Vineland Public Schools are offering counseling and support services in the wake of the child’s tragic death, schools
Superintendent Alfonso Llano said in a statement, according to NJ.com.
‘She will be missed greatly by her family, friends, and the entire school community,’ Llano reportedly said.
Investigators are asking residents in the area to share any surveillance footage from 9:30 to 11:30 on the night of the shooting.
Officials are asking anyone who resides in the area to share their home cameras between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Anyone with home video may contact CCPO.TIPS to notify detectives who will then make contact.

VINELAND – A 10-year-old girl was fatally wounded late Sunday night in what authorities believe was a drive-by shooting, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae in a statement Monday afternoon said the child was shot at a home in the 700 block of West Earl Drive.
City police were sent at about 11:17 p.m. Sunday to Inspira Medical Center Vineland for a report of a gunshot victim.
“Investigators are working to determine who was the intended target of the shooting,” Webb-McRae stated. “This is an active, ongoing investigation.”
The office is asking residents to share any home camera video taken between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Sunday if they live on West or East Earl Drive, at Park Towne Apartments, or on Diane Court, Mary Court, and Shirley Court.
