Date Time Second man charged after armed robbery at Greystanes Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives have charged a second man following investigations into an alleged armed robbery in Sydney’s west earlier this year. About 6am on Friday 5 March 2021, emergency services were called to a shopping centre on Merrylands Road at Greystanes, following reports of an armed robbery. Police were told that four men – armed with weapons – entered the store, before threatening staff and stealing the cash register. The men fled the area and were last seen travelling in a black BMW M4 with no registration plates, westbound on Merrylands Road.
