PNP IAS wants dismissal for cop accused of assaulting Nova Parojinog

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Internal Affairs Service (IAS) recommended the dismissal of Lieutenant Colonel Jigger Noceda, the former Camp Crame custodial unit chief accused of sexually assaulting former Ozamiz City vice mayor Nova Parojinog twice.
This was confirmed to Rappler by IAS chief Inspector General Alfegar Triambulo through a text message on Wednesday, December 16, saying the recommendation has reached the office of PNP chief General Debold Sinas.
Noceda was found guilty on two counts for grave misconduct, a count for acts of lasciviousness, and another for rape.
Five persons allegedly involved in the operations of Heart of Siam and Spa Aichi were arrested.
NBI officer-in-charge Director Eric Distor said the operations were conducted by the NBI Anti-Human Trafficking Division (NBI-AHTRAD) along with the Department of Justice Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (DoJ-IACAT).
Two were arrested at the Heart of Siam – a man identified as Robert Que Garcia and a male minor who has been turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Arrested at Spa Aichi were identified as Liecel Capicio, Miguel Diwata, and Jay Baldomar.
Following the operation, those arrested were presented for inquest before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for violating Republic Act 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 as amended by RA 10364, the Expanded Trafficking in Persons Act.
