PNP IAS wants dismissal for cop accused of assaulting Nova Parojinog Dec 16, 2020 2:50 PM PHT The Philippine National Police (PNP) Internal Affairs Service (IAS) recommended the dismissal of Lieutenant Colonel Jigger Noceda, the former Camp Crame custodial unit chief accused of sexually assaulting former Ozamiz City vice mayor Nova Parojinog twice. This was confirmed to Rappler by IAS chief Inspector General Alfegar Triambulo through a text message on Wednesday, December 16, saying the recommendation has reached the office of PNP chief General Debold Sinas. Noceda was found guilty on two counts for grave misconduct, a count for acts of lasciviousness, and another for rape.

Following the operation, those arrested were presented for inquest before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for violating Republic Act 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003 as amended by RA 10364, the Expanded Trafficking in Persons Act.
